Different Products of Flowcrete Flowprime
Flowprime
Flowprime is a 2-component, low-viscosity epoxy resin primer made for cement-based surfaces.
Uses
Flowprime is free from solvents and Nonyl Phenol, making it nearly odourless during application. The recommended substrate temperature ranges between 15°C and 25°C, with a minimum of 10°C. During application and curing, the substrate temperature must remain at least 3°C above the dew point. Additionally, temperatures should not fall below 5°C within 24 hours after application.
Curing time (at 20°C)
- Can be overcoated after 12 hours.
- Maximum overcoat time 24 hours.
- The product is fully hardened after 5 – 7 days.
- High humidity in early stages of cure can result in white, matt surfaces (blooming).
Finish
- Gloss
Flowprime Fastcure
Uses
Flowprime Fastcure mixes Hardener B with the standard Flowprime Base A to create a 2-component low viscosity epoxy resin primer for cement-based surfaces.
This product is used to prime concrete and screeds prior to overcoating with resin toppings like Flowshield SL, Flowtex, or Mondéco Earth. It also speeds up the application of later coatings.
Curing time (at a temperature of 20°C)
- Can be overcoated after 6 hours.
- Maximum overcoat time 12 hours.
- The product is fully hardened after 5 – 7 days.
- High humidity in early stages of cure can result in white, matt surfaces (blooming).
Finish
- Gloss
Flowprime Oil Tolerant EP
Flowprime Oil Tolerant EP is a 2-component, low-viscosity epoxy resin primer for cement-based surfaces.
Uses
Flowprime Oil Tolerant EP improves adhesion before coatings are applied and works on cleaned concrete floors or screeds with leftover oil contamination, whether mineral or vegetable. It is also suitable for fully cured, new concrete surfaces.
Curing time (at 20°C)
- Can be overcoated after 16 hours.
- Maximum overcoat time 48 hours.
- The product is fully hardened after 5-7 days.
- High humidity in early stages of cure can result in white, matt surfaces (blooming).
Flowprime ESD Conductive
Flowprime ESD Conductive is a two-part water-based epoxy resin conductive primer designed for electrostatic dissipative systems.
Uses
- Applied before coating with electrostatic dissipative (ESD) resin coatings such as Flowseal ESD EPW and Flowseal ESD UV (coloured).
- Provides electrical continuity under ESD resin layers and connects to the earthing point.
Curing time (at 20°C)
- Can be overcoated after 12 hours.
- Can be walked on after 12 hours.
- Maximum overcoat time 24 hours.
- Low relative humidity, maximum 70%, and good ventilation are prerequisites to achieve the above drying times.
- The product is fully hardened after 5-7 days.
- Do not cover within first 24 hours of curing.
Finish
- Satin
